Source & Supply Logistics is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operative to support daily stock handling, receiving, staging and order fulfilment. You will assist with cycle counts, ensure accurate paperwork, and help keep the site clean and compliant with safety procedures.

Working in a busy environment, you will coordinate with multiple departments, assist with customer queries, and contribute to efficient inventory management while adhering to company policies and health & safety guidelines.

Competenze

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics or similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic IT skills and ability to learn company systems.
• Full clean driving licence is an advantage.

What You Can Expect :Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesRole Tasks & ResponsibilitiesHousekeeping & General Cleaning DutiesMaintain a clean, tidy, hygienic and safe working environment throughout the premises.Empty, clean and sanitise waste bins and ensure waste is disposed of correctly in accordance with company procedures.Clean and maintain waste storage areas, including bins, containers and surrounding areas.Carry out routine cleaning of communal areas, workspaces, and other designated areas as required.Ensure cleaning materials, equipment and supplies are stored safely and appropriately.Monitor and report any cleaning, maintenance or hygiene issues to the appropriate manager.Carry out regular housekeeping checks and ensure areas are kept presentable and free from unnecessary waste or clutter.Follow all relevant company health and safety, hygiene and waste-management procedures.Assist with additional housekeeping and cleaning duties as reasonably required to support the smooth running of the premises.Work in a manner that minimises disruption to staff, customers and day-to-day operations.Warehouse Management:Receive and check stock from vendors, customers, internal shipments etc completing appropriate paperwork during process.Support the put away of stock in designated areas, recording locations during process.Support the completion of cycle-counts on a regular basis to ensure that the inventory is correct, and the products are in-house.Prep and check stock for vendors, customers, internal shipments etc., completing appropriate paperwork during process.Assist system accuracy by providing/checking important information regarding transfers of stock and investigating cycle count inaccuracies for customer accounts.Engage with Customer Service to ensure accurate recording of information and activity.Adhere to any specific customer processes and procedures.Support the development of processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.Contribute to a safe, accident-free, working environment by abiding by all safety procedures and policies.Coordinate business activities with other departments and locations to ensure smooth and efficient business execution.Detrash product as required.Dispose of waste as required.Health & Safety:Support the health, safety, and welfare of all staff.Responsible for reporting accidents and near misses to Management/H&S Team.Responsible for reporting health and safety concerns, issues, and ideas to Management/H&S Team.Collaboration with Health and Safety Team.What You Bring:Key ResponsibilitiesSupport warehouse activities as required, including receiving, checking, preparing and moving stock., and assist with stock counts.Follow customer-specific processes, company procedures and health and safety requirements.Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the site by working collaboratively with other departments and locations.Assist with customer queries and complaints by supporting investigations and escalating issues where required.Support quality assurance and compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant legislation.Complete general administrative and other duties as required to support the business.Carry out additional warehouse, housekeeping, cleaning or operational duties as required, including providing cover during periods of absence or increased workload.Knowledge, Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in a warehouse, logistics, cleaning, facilities or similar operational environment is desirable.Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment where required.Basic IT skills, with the ability to learn and use company systems and software.Ability to work flexibly and support different areas of the business as required.Education / LicencesLeaving Certificate or equivalent qualification desirable.Full clean B driving licence is an advantage.
