Job summary

Waystone in Ireland seeks a Senior Business Manager to partner with Operations leadership, turning strategy into disciplined execution with clear MI and governance routines. You will drive process improvement, reporting standards and operating rhythms to deliver measurable outcomes.

The role requires a practical “fixer” mindset, strong stakeholder management, and advanced reporting skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) to support decision-making at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in operations, business management, operational transformation or process improvement, ideally within asset management or financial services.
• Strong track record of turning ambiguous issues into structured analysis and measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrable fixer mindset with ability to create momentum in under-structured situations.
• Excellent MI and reporting capability, including KPI packs, capacity views and dashboards.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; exposure to Power BI, SQL or automation platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted business management partner to Operations leadership, translating strategic priorities into plans, governance and measurable outcomes.
• Identify pain points, control weaknesses and inefficiencies; shape pragmatic solutions that improve execution and accountability.
• Build and continually improve MI and reporting across Operations; define performance measures and reporting standards.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through delivery and BAU handover.
• Produce high-quality documentation and governance materials for leadership and executives.
