Job summary

The position of Assistant Staff Officer is a support or supervisory role within Cork County Council and may be assigned responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a work area, section or team. Qualifications

• Duties require ability to support management and deliver quality administrative services.

Responsibilities

• Support line managers to implement work programmes aligned with Corporate and Operational Plans.
• Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and managers on operational matters.
• Prepare reports, correspondence and documents; maintain effective working relationships.
• Ensure high levels of customer service; respond to queries professionally.
• Assist and support in delivery of projects; deputise for the line manager when required.
