Job summary

Qualifications

• Be a serving employee in a local authority or regional assembly.
• Two years’ satisfactory experience in a post of Clerical Officer or an analogous post.
• Panel B requires a comparable standard in an equivalent examination or a degree-level qualification.

Responsibilities

• Frontline or supervisory role within the local authority; day-to-day operation of a works area, section or team.
• Support managers and colleagues to meet work goals and deliver quality services to customers.
• Be flexible and work effectively as part of a team to deliver outcomes.

Education

Leaving Certificate (incl. Irish/English) with five subjects

Third level qualification of at least degree standard
