Job summary

Axis Environmental Services, part of the Celnor Group, is seeking an Operations Manager for our Limerick office.

You will lead day-to-day operations across field services, emissions testing, and laboratory operations, ensuring on-time delivery, efficient resource use and high client service standards. This is a people and operations leadership role focused on process improvement and performance across multiple service areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role.
• Experience managing operational teams, schedules and workloads.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience improving operational performance and business processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations across field services, air emissions, laboratory and reporting teams.
• Coordinate resources, scheduling and workloads to ensure timely project delivery.
• Support and develop operational staff through coaching, training and performance management.
• Ensure reporting deadlines are met and client deliverables are issued accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee equipment management, servicing schedules and readiness.
• Maintain and improve operational procedures and workflows.
• Support preparation of routine quotations and pricing requests.
• Manage RAMS, auditing activities and compliance requirements.
• Act as a key point of contact for operational queries from colleagues and clients.
• Provide regular operational updates to leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery and customer satisfaction.
