Job summary

RecruitmentPlus is seeking an Operations Manager for an established wholesale company in Ireland. You will lead a team of about five across Warehouse, Logistics and Customer Service, driving efficiency and service quality.

Overseeing Warehouse, IT, Service division and Tech support, you will implement best-practice processes and collaborate with the senior leadership team to support growth during a key expansion phase.

Description of Role:

Our client is now seeking an operations manager to join their thriving business. This role is with a well-established wholesales company with an excellent reputation with both their customers and employees. The role is to lead and manage a team of approximately 5 across Warehouse and Logistics and customer service.

Requirements:

Ideally candidates will have robust operations and warehouse management experience. Previous experience working in a distribution organisation would be advantageous.

The operations team work with a very large number of product lines, this role will therefore need someone with robust and efficient warehouse management system experience and a solid understanding of supply chain.

Team management experience. This role will act as team champion for the operations team, it may suit candidates at ops team lead or ops team supervisor level looking to take the next step into an ops manager role.

This is a busy and varied role and you will be joining an organisation in a key growth phase so our client is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious leader ready to join the senior leadership team and help support their expansion.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Management of the Warehouse, IT, Service division and Tech support teams.
• Maintaining high performance of the service-related processes.
• Ensuring systems and best practice procedures are in place to support excellent service delivery
• Working with the senior leadership team to further grow and develop the business.
