Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment in Ireland invites an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations across solar PV and heat pump installations. You will lead field-based teams, build scalable processes and drive performance, safety and quality while supporting commercial pricing decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations management within a multi-site setting.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV, heat pumps or related installations.
• Experience leading field-based teams and coordinating across sites.
• Proven leadership, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of health and safety compliance and RAMS.
• Commercial awareness with experience in pricing decisions desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead field-based teams, surveyors and support staff to build a culture of accountability, quality and safety.
• Develop and improve processes across surveying, design, scheduling, installation and handover.
• Increase installation capacity while reducing delays, rework, complaints and costs.
• Oversee health and safety, quality standards, suppliers and logistics.
• Support sales with technical project scoping, pricing and commercial decisions.
• Establish KPIs and provide operational performance reports to senior management.

About Your New Job

• Increase installation capacity while reducing delays, rework, complaints and operational costs.
• Oversee health and safety, quality standards, suppliers and logistics.
• Support the sales team with technical project scoping, pricing and commercial decision-making.
• Establish KPIs and provide clear operational performance reports to senior management.

What Skills You Need

• Proven experience in operations management
• Strong knowledge of solar PV, heat pumps or mechanical/electrical installations.
• Experience managing field-based teams and multi-site operations.
