Job summary

EPS Group in Mountrath, Leinster, is seeking an experienced Operations & Branch Manager to lead our Product Business Unit. You will drive day-to-day branch operations, warehouse, service, and logistics while maintaining strong financial controls and service excellence.

Working with the Regional Sales Manager, you will ensure stock availability, efficient service delivery, and customer support, fostering continuous improvement, safe operations and robust supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in operations, logistics, warehouse or branch management.
• Experience in distribution, technical sales, service or industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent organisational, communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Product Business Unit with high service levels.
• Oversee warehouse activities: goods receiving, storage, stock control, dispatch.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Manage counter sales operations and provide customer service and technical support.
• Coordinate service and repair activities for timely delivery and satisfaction.
• Support Regional Sales Manager with readiness and product availability.
• Oversee invoicing, credit control and debt collection processes.
• Monitor performance and contribute to budgeting, reporting and planning.
• Build relationships with suppliers, couriers and service providers.
• Lead and develop teams across warehouse, service and customer support.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and quality standards.

We are seeking an experienced Operations & Branch Manager to lead our Product Business Unit in Mountrath, supporting customers across Leinster through our warehouse, counter sales, service and logistics operations.

The Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for the day-to-day management of our branch operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient logistics, strong financial controls and effective team performance.

Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager, you will oversee warehouse operations, service delivery, stock management and customer support, while driving continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Product Business Unit, ensuring high service levels and operational efficiency.
• Oversee warehouse activities including goods receiving, storage, stock control and product dispatch.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and effective stock replenishment processes.
• Manage counter sales operations and provide excellent customer service and technical support.
• Coordinate service and repair activities to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Support the Regional Sales Manager by ensuring operational readiness and product availability.
• Manage invoicing, credit control and debt collection processes.
• Monitor operational performance and contribute to budgeting, reporting and business planning activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, couriers and service providers.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team across warehouse, service and customer support functions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, service delivery and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, company policies and quality standards.

About You

You will have:

• At least three to five years' experience in an operations, logistics, warehouse or branch management role.
• Experience working within a distribution, technical sales, service or industrial environment.
• Strong Leadership Skills With Experience Managing And Developing Teams.
• Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills.
• Proven experience in stock management, logistics and order fulfilment processes.
• A good understanding of invoicing, credit control and business performance management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive operational improvements.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
• Experience within the water, wastewater, pumping, engineering or related technical sectors would be a distinct advantage.
