Job summary

PayPal seeks a Product Manager for its enterprise open banking product team. You will partner with internal product and business teams to leverage open banking across use cases and work with engineering to define requirements and architecture for scalable solutions. The role is an individual contributor.

You will drive the open banking roadmap, gather customer insights, and translate them into product requirements while maintaining strong technical understanding and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in product management for open banking or related fintech solutions.
• Strong analytical and data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Technical understanding of APIs, data architecture and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Uses data to build insights on product or platform requirements aligned with the product vision.
• Gathers customer experience insights to input to product requirements.
• Analyzes research, market analysis and usability studies to support data‑driven decisions.
• Monitors product profitability measures, including budget.
• Leads sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives to drive execution.
• Interfaces with product and technology leadership as needed.
• Partners with content developers, data scientists, product designers and user researchers to identify new opportunities.
• Provide inputs to help shape the strategy and roadmap for open banking.
• Drive execution of the open banking roadmap initiatives and become SME for these.
• Collaborate with use case teams to align needs with roadmaps.
• Develop a strong technical understanding and document initiatives with clear justifications and metrics.
