Job summary

Waystone is seeking an Associate to join their fast-growing dynamic team to work on Economic Substance and risk reporting for Cayman entities. The role focuses on market risk analytics, monitoring investment compliance, and client service delivery across product lines.

The incumbent will work closely with Directors and team members, handling DEF workflows, client engagement files, and regulatory projects while maintaining excellent client relationships and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/business/accounting or similar internationally recognized professional qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification financial services experience.
• Knowledge of investment funds, portfolio valuation and fund administrators’ reporting packs.
• Bloomberg experience for fund liquidity, traded volume, risk metrics.
• Strong MS Office skills; time management and communication abilities.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling client information.
• Experience onboarding new clients and hedge fund documentation/regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer holdings and market data to produce risk reporting.
• Record and escalate breaches per procedure.
• Maintain documentation and backups of operational processes.
• Expand ownership of funds to monitor risk exposure.
• Handle DEF workflows for board resolutions and transaction docs.
• Support PMO calls and timely PMO reports.
• Onboard new engagements and ensure efficient processes.
• Provide excellent client service and liaise with fund service providers.
