Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Fermoy, Co. Cork, Ireland is seeking an on-site Operations & Maintenance Engineer to cover multiple water treatment sites, including Macroom Wwtp, Cork Whitegate Wtp, and Ballycotton Wwtp.

You will work within a team to deliver projects while maintaining safety, environmental and sustainability standards. The role requires a Level 7 Honours Degree in engineering and at least 2 years’ relevant experience, strong team and communication skills, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in water/wastewater.
• Level 7 Honours Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• Interest in developing a career within an industry-leading organisation.
• Ability to work as part of a team in project delivery and provide input at team meetings.
• Ability to engage with suppliers and sub-contractors at procurement stage.
• Ability to use own initiative and solve problems during project delivery.
• Good working knowledge of MS packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills with motivation and a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to deliver multiple projects.
• Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards on-site.
• SCADA monitoring, checks and reporting issues to O&M team.
• Prepare Client Monthly Status Reports & Quarterly Payment Applications.
• Report at client meetings and maintain O&M documentation.
