Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd invites applications for an Operations & Maintenance Engineer based on-site in the Mallow area, covering multiple water treatment locations in Cork and surrounding counties. The role combines project delivery with safety and compliance responsibilities in a collaborative team environment.

The position requires a relevant degree and hands-on maintenance expertise, with opportunities for professional development and advancement within a progressive utility-focused group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the water and wastewater industry.
• Minimum of a Level 7 Honours Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• An interest in developing a career within an industry-leading organisation.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in the delivery of projects while embracing a "one team" culture.
• Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards are followed on-site.
• SCADA monitoring, checks and reporting to O&M Technicians & Project Manager.
• Prepare Client Monthly Status Reports & Quarterly Payment Applications.
• Attend client meetings and quarterly reporting.
• Maintain contract SharePoint O&M Site, Teams and shared drives.
• Assist with planning, execution and reporting of site process audits and maintenance tasks.
• Procurement of site consumables and spares within contract budgets.
• Train O&M Technicians on process activities and fault finding.
