Job summary
LexisNexis Risk Solutions in Ireland (Dublin) is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, operate and improve secure, highly available Azure platforms supporting large-scale production environments. You will lead reliability initiatives, define SLI/SLOs, mentor SRE engineers, and collaborate with engineering, security, architecture and product teams to improve resilience and operational performance.
The role emphasizes automation, IaC with Terraform, GitOps with ArgoCD, and end-to-end
Qualifications
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering or equivalent.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Advanced Terraform skills and reusable IaC components.
- Strong GitOps with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
- Proficient Linux scripting in Python, PowerShell, Go or Bash.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, operate and improve secure, highly available Azure platforms.
- Define SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
- Lead incident analysis and post-incident reviews.
- Develop IaC with Terraform and automation scripts.
- Implement GitOps with ArgoCD and manage upgrades.
- Develop monitoring, logging, and tracing strategies.
- Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers.
