Job summary

Laya Healthcare is seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to join the IT Operations team at our Little Island, Cork site. As the first point of contact for onsite issues, you’ll support hardware, mobile devices, printers and AV across the organisation.

You’ll work closely with IT teams and external vendors, provide deskside assistance, and help deploy devices for new starters while contributing to service improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's IT support or service desk experience.
• Experience supporting end users in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and end-user support skills.
• Experience deploying and supporting laptops, mobile devices and printers.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for onsite IT incidents and requests.
• Manage the Service Desk portal to log, track and resolve issues.
• Provide 1st/2nd line support for hardware, desktop and AV tech.
• Diagnose and fix issues with laptops, mobiles, printers and workstations.
• Support Town Hall events and meeting room AV requirements.
• Deliver deskside support across the Cork office.
• Assist new starters with device setup and onboarding.
• Configure and deploy laptops, iPhones and iPads.
• Maintain printer maintenance and inventory control.
• Coordinate with third-level support and vendors for complex issues.
• Contribute to IT Operations team improvements.
