Job summary

Laya Healthcare in Cork (Little Island) is seeking a customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our IT Operations team onsite. You will be the first point of contact for end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure colleagues have the devices and tools they need to work effectively across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT support/service desk experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience delivering excellent customer service and end-user support.
• Experience deploying and supporting laptops, mobile devices, printers and AV equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies and business applications is advantageous.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for onsite IT incidents and service requests.
• Administer the Service Desk portal and track requests.
• Provide first and second-line support for hardware, desktops and AV technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with laptops, mobile devices, printers and workstations.
• Support Town Hall events, meeting rooms and boardroom AV requirements.
• Deliver deskside support across the Cork office.
• Assist new starters with device setup and onboarding.
• Configure and deploy laptops, iPhones and iPads.
• Manage printer maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Carry out laptop imaging and device preparation.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and stock control.
• Liaise with third-level support teams and external vendors.
• Contribute to IT Operations continuous improvement initiatives.
