Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment on behalf of a manufacturing client in County Cavan seeks a full-time HR Administrator on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is fully onsite and requires travel to recruitment events; candidates must have their own transport and driving license.

You will prepare letters, take notes in employee relations meetings, support performance management, manage leaves, recruitment support, onboarding, payroll admin, training, OH appointments and wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in an HR Admin or similar role.
• Third level qualification in HR or CIPD qualified.
• Understanding of employment legislation in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Prepare letters of communication in line with HR policy.
• Note taking in employee relations related meetings.
• Support managers in performance management processes.
• Update and maintain leave trackers daily.
• Monitor time & attendance and compliance processes.
• Assist with Reward & Recognition programmes.
• Screen CVs, schedule interviews, reference checks for recruitment.
• Manage contracts, onboarding and employee records.
• Oversee leave entitlements and assist with weekly payroll admin.
• Support training administration and OH appointment organization.
• Contribute to wellbeing programmes and HR initiatives.
