Job summary

ACCPRO are working with a leading FMCG company to hire a Demand Planner in Dublin. The role focuses on developing and maintaining rolling demand forecasts across product categories, using historical data, customer requirements and business inputs.

You will lead planning meetings, support SIOP activity, and ensure ERP/MRP systems are used effectively. This is a full-time onsite role in Dublin with own transport required.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in Demand Planning or related roles.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
  • Forecasting and inventory planning experience.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP planning systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication.
  • Experience with SIOP/IBP is beneficial.
  • APICS CPIM or similar qualification is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts across product categories.
  • Analyse demand using data and customer requirements.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and improve planning performance.
  • Manage inventory requirements including stock levels and replenishment.
  • Identify stock shortages and obsolete stock.
  • Develop production plans aligned with forecast.
  • Use ERP/MRP systems to support planning.
  • Lead weekly demand and inventory review meetings and contribute to SIOP.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, warehouse and finance.
  • Maintain planning data and parameters in ERP/MRP.
  • Support new product introductions.
  • Produce KPI reporting and data-driven recommendations.
  • Identify improvements to demand planning and wider supply chain processes.
