Job summary

Collins McNicholas Group is seeking a Demand Planner to develop and optimise finished goods forecasts across EMEA, working with Sales & Marketing, Demand Planning, and Supply Planning. You will contribute to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and translate market plans into robust forecasts.

This hybrid role requires 1 day per week in Athlone, and offers involvement in forecasting improvements and lifecycle planning with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain, demand planning, supply planning or a related logistics role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, forecasting, inventory management and planning processes.
  • Experience with demand/DRP planning tools and SAP/APO.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to process improvement.
  • Strong cross-functional and multicultural collaboration skills.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain EMEA demand and finished goods forecasts.
  • Support the IBP process, aligning demand forecasts with business plans.
  • Identify and manage demand exceptions, forecast bias and unusual demand patterns.
  • Manage forecasting requirements across product launches, phase-ins, phase-outs and end-of-life products.
  • Use market intelligence and statistical forecasting to improve forecast quality.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and drive corrective actions.
  • Conduct what-if scenarios and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Maintain data integrity within demand planning systems.
  • Provide key inputs to supply, production and inventory planning.
  • Lead or contribute to supply chain improvement projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing and optimising finished goods forecasts across EMEA, working closely with Sales & Marketing, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and other regional stakeholders. You will contribute to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and help translate market intelligence and business plans into robust demand forecasts.
This is a hybrid position with 1 day per week required in Athlone.
