The Event Service Specialist will be the primary on-site contact to flawlessly execute events at a major tech campus, working with FIRST teams and internal partners to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Must be fluent in English.
• This is an on-site position requiring campus deployment.
• Knowledge of basic event management and operations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
• Creative problem solver, resourceful and a team player.
• Highly organized with ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact on event day for hosts, coordinating with managers and service partners.
• Work across multiple event spaces and travel between floors and buildings.
• Coordinate and execute event logistics.
• Review event needs and clarify concerns prior to events.
• Support onsite events including multiple events per day.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate advanced needs to internal partners.
• Communicate changes to event team and supporting services as needed.
• Assist managers in planning large-scale events and end-to-end planning for small events.
• Provide administrative support and keep planning tools up-to-date.
• Compile reports related to on-site events and post-event data.
• Support Guest Services with check-in, wayfinding, and questions on event details.
