Job summary

Aramark Ireland is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Plumbing in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. This permanent role reports to the onsite manager and requires a qualified plumbing tradesperson with multi-skilled facilities management experience.

Responsibilities include carrying out maintenance, installations, servicing, compliance with health and safety, and supporting the helpdesk. BMS/controls experience and proficiency with Excel are advantageous; weekend work may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

Must be qualified in a Plumbing trade, with experience in general mechanical and building services maintenance
Plumbing trade background with strong evidence of multi-skilled Facilities Management (FM) maintenance delivery
Experience in BMS and control systems an advantage
Excel competency is essential
Flexibility – Possible weekend working on an ad hoc basis

Responsibilities

To undertake such maintenance repairs, installation or servicing work as detailed by Aramark / client specification.
To comply with the Company’s procedures when working on a client’s premises.
To observe and comply with all working practices and to ensure compliance with the appropriate health & safety statutory requirements at all times.
To maintain all Company issued equipment in a clean, serviceable, presentable and safe manner.
Ensure all Company paperwork is always completed accurately and legibly.
Maintain a professional manner at all times and develop good working relationships with clients and other staff members.
To locate & purchase items of equipment to facilitate the speedy & effective service to our clients.
Ensure all professional qualifications required to undertake duties are up to date.
Support the helpdesk in their role by effective communication and promote efficiency.
Prepare permits and supervise sub-contractors carrying out work on site
Ensure that work area is maintained in a clean and tidy state and dispose of all waste products in a suitable manner and in line with company procedures.
