Job summary

PepsiCo in Cork, Ireland is seeking an entry-level EHS Assistant to support daily EHS activities and communications. You will help collate documentation, update training materials, and assist with Pep+ projects under supervision.

You will participate in reporting, investigations of incidents, and tracking EHS KPIs, while developing strong IT skills in Microsoft Word and Excel and building a foundation for a career in environmental, health and safety.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) or related field.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Self-starter, eager to learn and work independently.
  • Strong IT skills in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively championing EHS and safe working practices across the company's activities and operations.
  • Assisting with reporting, investigating and recording of accident, near miss and good catch data promptly, ensuring corrective actions are identified and tracked to implementation.
  • Supporting the tracking and reporting of EHS KPI's / metrics.
  • Actively participating in site EHS committee meetings.
  • Providing general support and assistance to the EHS Manager.

Overview


  • Supporting the day to day operations of the EHS Department by :

  • Assisting with collating documentation.

  • Preparation and development of EHS Communications Campaigns Materials.

  • Updating of EHS Training Materials.

  • Pep+ Projects.

  • Proactively championing EHS and safe working practices across the company's activities and operations.

  • Assisting with reporting, investigating and recording of accident, near miss and good catch data promptly, ensuring corrective actions are identified and tracked to implementation.

Qualifications


  • Undertaking a bachelor's or master's degree in an Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) field or related discipline.

  • Self starter, self sufficient and eager to learn.

  • Strong IT Skills in Work and Excel.
