Job summary

Taleo seeks an EHS Project Specialist to provide senior-level Environmental, Health & Safety oversight at the Ballsbridge location in Dublin. You will drive program implementation, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation on-site with autonomy and partner with client teams to ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will lead cross-functional EHS initiatives, develop systems for continuous safety improvements, and maintain documentation and training across partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field
• High School diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of progressive experience in an EHS environment
• Proficient with Google Suite
• Experience with Enablon or similar programs is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local language
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to quickly learn and master new technology
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional EHS projects from outline to implementation, including developing project plans and building consensus among diverse stakeholders
• Develop and sustain systems to drive compliance, continuous injury reduction, and environmental performance
• Review internal EHS policies and practices; conduct job hazard and risk assessments to identify and mitigate risks
• Coach and train business partners on EHS responsibilities
• Manage the floor warden team, facilitate meetings, maintain records, and coordinate training
• Update safety manuals, SOPs, and related documentation for supported business partners
• Maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Systems and filing systems (e.g., training records, hazardous waste manifests, etc.)
• Perform baseline EHS assessments within the organization and for supported business partners
• Design and compose weekly reports and conduct industry benchmarking
• Develop recommendations to address complex operational and strategic EHS problems
• Evaluate the impact of proposed changes with attention to scalability and sustainability
• Assist with environmental permits and related issues as needed
• Ensure client expectations and assigned workflows are completed in a professional manner in accordance with the deadlines outlined

The EHS Project Specialist is a senior-level role responsible for full Environmental, Health, and Safety oversight of their assigned facilities. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy, serving as the on-site EHS authority to drive program implementation, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation across all operations. Leveraging extensive EHS expertise, this professional manages complex safety challenges in collaboration with client partners, leads strategic initiatives in partnership with the client’s Global EHS Management Team, and ensures the facility maintains full compliance with local, state, federal, and company regulations.

This role is 100% onsite at the assigned client location (Ballsbridge Office in Dublin ) with potential travel for remote service locations as needed. Building coverage may be adapted as needed based on utilization and shifting coverage needs.
