PE Global Healthcare are assisting with the recruitment of an experienced CNM2 for a residential service in Cork. Qualifications

• RGN NMBI registered Nurse.
• 5 years post registration experience.
• Recognised Management Qualification.
• 3 years Management Experience.
• 3 years experience working with people with disabilities.
• Full Drivers Licence with access to own transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership in clinical practice and act as a resource for clinical practice.
• Provide leadership, supervision and support to Nursing, Social Care and Care Support staff.
• Ensure records and documentation are up to date and HIQA compliant.
• Maintain HIQA registration for the centre.
• Practice nursing according to Clinical Guidelines, local policies and current legislation.
• Collaborate with service owners, family, carers and other staff as appropriate, communicating with team members.

Job description

PE Global Healthcare are delighted to assist their client to recruit for an experienced CNM2 for a residential service in Cork. The CNM 2 will be responsible for the clinical oversight within a large team delivering care and support to adults with disabilities. This will involve working with and being supported by a management team to ensure compliance with HIQA standards, implementation of policies and procedures and supporting best care and practice in disability services.

The location of the post is Ladysbridge Co Cork

Duties

• The applicant will need to provide strong leadership in clinical practice and act as a resource and role model for clinical practice and to deliver clinical interventions when required.
• Provide leadership, supervision and support to Nursing, Social Care and Care Support staff in the provision of clinical and care support services.
• Ensure all relevant records and documentation are kept appropriately and up to date in relation to service owners and staff in particular ensuring compliance with record keeping in line with legislation and HIQA requirements.
• Ensure that the centre is compliant with all standards as laid down by HIQA and be responsible for maintaining HIQA registration.
• The CNM2 will practice nursing according to Professional Clinical Guidelines National and Area Health Service Executive (HSE guidelines), local policies, protocols, guidelines and current legislation
• Participate in local, regional and national teams within Enable Ireland as appropriate, communicating and working in co-operation with other team members.
