Job summary

Valeo in Tuam, Ireland, seeks a Process/Manufacturing Engineering PTM to lead Test Engineering in the NPI lab. You will establish and govern test best practices, develop roadmaps for test processes, and own the test specification lifecycle from prototyping to production.

Responsibilities include cross-functional quality alignment, DFT and PFMEA contributions, design and deployment of hardware and software test solutions, and driving test coverage optimization with GR&R and Cp/Cpk studies.

Qualifications

• Experience in test engineering for electronics hardware and software.
• Strong knowledge of DFT and PFMEA.
• Experience in NPI lab environments and prototyping.
• Ability to define test methods with GR&R and Cp/Cpk analysis.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Establish and govern Test Engineering best practices from prototyping through series production.
• Develop the strategic development roadmap for all assigned test processes, technologies, and tooling.
• Own test specification lifecycle and ensure sign-off with R&D Project Engineers.
• Design, develop, validate, and deploy hardware and software test solutions.
• Create test coverage reports and drive continuous improvement.
