Job summary

Valeo is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support the production team and keep equipment within OEE targets. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, downtime reduction, and TPM participation across shifts.

The ideal candidate has a Certificate/Diploma in Electronic Engineering, 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, and familiarity with Agilent i5000 ICT, GPIB/RS232 interfaces, and PC-based testing. This is a full-time on-site position based in Ireland.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive protocols (K-Line, CAN, LIN).
• Experience with PC-based testing (software/hardware installation).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Valeo safe-working requirements and PPE procedures.
• Assist production to achieve OEE and TL R targets.
• Respond to downtime and defective-product situations promptly.
• Document downtime and update PM records.
• Provide training to other technicians.
