Job summary

Dexcom Ireland in Athenry, Ireland, seeks Front End Night Shift Technicians (Technician 1-3) to join a 12‑hour night pattern (4‑on/3‑off; 3‑on/4‑off) with a 30% shift premium. Under the Process Engineering Manager, technicians will support equipment engineers to improve, install, validate, and transfer automated manufacturing equipment for Dexcom products.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Level 6/7 qualification with experience across technician roles.
• 0-2 years experience for Technician 1; 2-4 years for Technician 2; 4-6 years for Technician 3.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents related to equipment specifications.
• Ability to write routine reports, pass downs and correspondence.
• Experience with process improvement projects to improve yields and reduce downtime.

Responsibilities

• Test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies using test equipment.
• Work with pneumatics, electromechanical systems and PLCs in high-volume manufacturing.
• Operate, test and maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• Analyse and record test results and prepare written documentation.
• Carry out fault isolation on automated systems and equipment.
• Assist in equipment development under supervision of the project engineer and update related documentation.
