Job summary

Dexcom Ireland is hiring Engineering Technicians at Technician 1-3 levels for our Weekend Night Shift. You’ll support equipment engineers with testing, validation and transfer of replicate automated equipment used in scale-up manufacturing for Dexcom products.

Under the supervision of the Process Engineering Manager, you will test electro-mechanical assemblies, work with PLCs, pneumatics and robotics in a high-volume manufacturing environment, document results, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting equipment specifications.
• Writing routine reports and passing downs.
• Experience with PLC and automated production equipment.
• Background in pneumatics, electro/mechanical systems or robotics is desirable.
• Experience with process improvement and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies using test equipment.
• Work with PLCs, pneumatics and robotics in a high-volume environment.
• Operate and maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• Analyze results and prepare documentation; support equipment deployment teams.
• Follow safety programs and update equipment documentation.
