Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Ireland seeks an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee motorway renewal and maintenance projects in the Greater Dublin area. Lead supervision of contractors, ensure works meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements, and manage documentation to support project delivery.

The role is predominantly night-time, covering pavement renewal, drainage, and infrastructure works. It requires a Level 8 Civil Engineering degree, post-graduate experience, and strong QA/health and safety

Qualifications

• Level 8 degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Post-graduate civil construction supervision experience.
• Experience in pavement renewal or highway projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as Resident Engineer on motorway renewal and maintenance projects.
• Supervise pavement rehabilitation and resurfacing works.
• Oversee drainage, ducting, structures and related works.
• Monitor construction to ensure safety, quality and schedule.
• Maintain site records and progress reports.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
