Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Night Porter to support our Cork team. You will check in and out guests, assist with luggage, keep the lobby and public areas clean, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment during night shifts.

You’ll follow hotel procedures, help set up meeting rooms, manage duties with a friendly, customer-focused approach, and learn through our Dalata Academy while growing within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service.
• Good spoken English.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a busy environment.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out hotel guests and assist with luggage/porterage.
• Responsible for cleaning areas including lobby, back office, stairways, restaurant and bar floor, public and staff areas and meeting room floor.
• Clean other areas as directed by the manager on duty and per nightly checklist (including function rooms, breakfast area).
• Manage front entrance and exterior cleanliness; empty bins and pick up rubbish.
• Understand and follow hotel fire procedures to ensure safety of staff and guests.
• Set up meeting rooms as needed.
