Job summary

Sofina Foods in Callan is hiring a Hygiene Operator to keep production lines clean and compliant with food safety standards. You'll support GMP and work across production areas to maintain high hygiene levels.

You should have a good level of English, be well organised, and a team player. Training will be provided; previous hygiene experience is useful but not required.

• Maintain exceptional hygiene standards throughout the production environment.
• Support hygiene, food safety, and internal audit activities across the site.
• Ensure PPE and company-issued uniform standards are maintained at all times.
• Complete allocated tasks safely, accurately, and within agreed timescales.
• Maintain accurate and timely completion of all required documentation.

A Key Role in Keeping Our Operations Safe, Clean, and Ready for Production

Role Overview

Join our production team as a Hygiene Operator and play a vital part in ensuring our production lines and areas are cleaned to the highest standard. Your work will directly support product quality and food safety across our site.

Pay: €15.90
Location: Callan
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday 9:30pm - 6am

Key Duties

• Promote a strong "clean as you go" culture and support adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Carry out cleaning activities in line with trained procedures and agreed hygiene standards.
• Complete machinery hygiene checks in accordance with company requirements.
• Maintain exceptional hygiene standards throughout the production environment.
• Support hygiene, food safety, and internal audit activities across the site.
• Ensure PPE and company-issued uniform standards are maintained at all times.
• Complete allocated tasks safely, accurately, and within agreed timescales.
