Sofina Foods is seeking a Production Operative at our Callan site. You will join a hands-on team preparing and processing pork products safely, efficiently and to quality standards. Full training is provided and opportunities to develop your skills within a large meat processing operation.

Working Monday to Friday, 2:30pm–11pm, you will handle processing, packing and labeling tasks, keep your area clean, and support the production team in meeting daily targets and quality checks.

Play your part in producing quality pork products, every day.

Role Overview

As a Production Operative, you’ll be part of a hands-on team preparing and processing pork products safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Depending on your role and experience, you may work across areas including processing, cutting and trimming, packing, labelling and general production. Full training is available, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress.

Pay: €14.40 per hour
Location: Callan
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 2:30pm-11pm

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be reliable, practical and comfortable working as part of a busy production team. You’ll also need to:

• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Prepare, process and pack pork products to specification
• Check product quality, including size, weight and presentation
• Operate equipment safely following training
• Pack and label products accurately
• Keep your work area clean and organised
• Work to production targets and daily plans
• Report any product, equipment or safety issues

Previous food manufacturing experience is useful but not essential as training will be provided.
