Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe is seeking a Production Operative to join a hands-on team in Tullamore, working across processing, cutting, packing and labeling of pork products. Full training is provided, with opportunities to develop skills and progress within a large food manufacturing business.

Pay is €14.40 per hour, and you will be part of a busy production environment focused on safety, quality and efficiency. Training will cover food safety and equipment operation.

• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Prepare, process and pack pork products to specification.
• Check product quality, including size, weight and presentation.
• Operate equipment safely following training.
• Pack and label products accurately.
• Keep your work area clean and organised.
• Work to production targets and daily plans.
• Report any product, equipment or safety issues.
• Previous food manufacturing experience is useful but not essential as training will be provided.

Role Overview

As a Production Operative, you’ll be part of a hands-on team preparing and processing pork products safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Depending on your role and experience, you may work across areas including processing, cutting and trimming, packing, labelling and general production. Full training is available, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress.

Pay: €14.40 per hour

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be reliable, practical and comfortable working as part of a busy production team. You’ll also need to:

• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Prepare, process and pack pork products to specification
• Check product quality, including size, weight and presentation

• Pack and label products accurately
• Keep your work area clean and organised

Previous food manufacturing experience is useful but not essential as training will be provided.
