Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Night Porter in Galway, Ireland. The role includes guest check-in/out support, porterage, and ensuring cleanliness across public and back-office areas. Training is provided via the Dalata Academy, with opportunities for progression within the group.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out hotel guests; assist with guest requests related to luggage/porterage.
• Clean designated hotel areas including lobby, back office, stairways, restaurant and bar floor, public and staff areas, and the meeting room floor.
• Clean other areas as directed, including setup of function rooms and breakfast area.
• Maintain front entrance and exterior cleanliness; empty bins and pick up rubbish.
• Understand and follow hotel fire procedures to ensure safety of staff and guests.
• Set up meeting rooms as required.
