Job summary

Aramark Ireland is hiring a Night Cleaning Operative to join our Dublin facilities team. You will clean offices, corridors, restrooms and common areas during night hours, using and maintaining cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and reporting issues promptly.

A strong focus on health and safety, COSHH compliance, and security is required. The role suits individuals with prior cleaning or facilities experience, who can work independently with excellent time management and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning operations, facilities maintenance, or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work reliably during night shifts.
• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time keeping and ability to manage workload independently.
• Desirable knowledge of COSHH regulations.
• Desirable First Aid certification or willingness to undertake training.
• Desirable experience working in a corporate or office environment.

Responsibilities

• Replenish cleaning supplies and maintain stock levels throughout the shift.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards, or damage promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations including COSHH and emergency procedures.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks within the shift timeframe.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow security protocols in sensitive areas.
• Dispose of waste materials responsibly and comply with regulations.
• Perform routine inspections to verify cleaning standards meet organisational specs.

• Conduct thorough and systematic cleaning of all assigned areas, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal spaces during night shift hours
• Operate and maintain commercial cleaning equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures
• Replenish cleaning supplies and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained throughout the shift
• Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards, or damage to facilities management promptly
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines and emergency procedures
• Manage time effectively to complete all cleaning tasks within the allocated shift timeframe
