Barden | B Corp in Dublin West is seeking a newly qualified Financial Accountant (0–2 years PQE) to join the finance team on a permanent basis. The role offers exposure to end-to-end financial accounting within a group environment, with increasing focus on analysis, reporting and business partnering.

You will prepare monthly management packs, perform month-end close, support budgeting and forecasting, and drive automation and process improvements using ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 0–2 years PQE or finalist with industry experience.
• Hands-on month-end close and reconciliations experience preferred.
• Confident with ERP systems and advanced Excel reporting.
• Self-sufficient, proactive, team-oriented with positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reporting pack for the group by deadlines.
• Complete month-end close, including bank reconciliations and balance sheets.
• Support quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Produce financial analysis and variance reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Partner with commercial and sales teams and drive process improvements.

Financial Accountant (Newly Qualified to 2 Years PQE) - Dublin West

Our client is a successful, Irish-based business that is part of a larger international group, headquartered in Dublin West. They are looking for a Qualified Accountant (0-2 years PQE) to join their finance team on a permanent basis as Financial Accountant, in a role that offers exposure to every aspect of finance.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a rare chance to see end-to-end financial accounting in a business that combines the structure of a corporate group with the autonomy of an entrepreneurial one. As automation reshapes the function, the role is set to move towards analysis, reporting, and business partnering.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the monthly management reporting pack for the group within tight deadlines;
• Completing month-end close, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet reviews;
• Supporting the quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycle;
• Producing financial analysis and variance reporting for senior stakeholders;
• Partnering with commercial and sales colleagues across the business;
• Contributing to automation and process improvement projects.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with up to 2 years’ PQE, or a finalist with strong industry experience;
• Hands-on industry experience of month-end close and reconciliations is strongly preferred;
• Confident working with ERP systems and advanced Excel, including lookups and reporting from system extracts;
• Self-sufficient, with the confidence to work independently and ask the right questions;
• Hard-working and positive, with a good team attitude.
