Job summary

The Recruitment Company Australia is assisting a Dublin-based company in Ireland to find a seasoned Network & Security Architect. This hybrid role requires two days on-site per week and offers a salary of €90-105k DOE.

You will shape architectural strategy and a roadmap for hybrid cloud environments, lead the security team, mentor junior engineers, and work with Palo Alto firewalls and WAF technologies, with Azure experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network security and infrastructure
• Experience designing high/low level security architectures (HLD/LLD)
• Mentored junior team members and led initiatives
• Certifications related to Palo Alto networks and security technologies
• Strong experience with WAF in hybrid and cloud environments
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments, ideally Azure
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design architectural strategy and roadmap for network security in hybrid cloud

Network Security Architect Hybrid 2 days per week €90-105k DOE *Please note that you must be based in Ireland or have a valid work permit* We are currently assisting a Dublin based company in the search for a seasoned Network & Security Architect that has expertise across firewalls in particular Palo Alto. This is senior role and you will be one of the key players in designing the architectural strategy and roadmap in hybrid cloud environment. The overall security team has grown massively over the past 18 months and currently sits at 21. This role will require you to have worked on enterprise networks supporting a large user environment This will be a full time salaried role with some of the strongest benefits that the Irish market has to offer. To be successful you will have:

• 8+ years experience across network security, infrastructure.
• Worked on HLD and LLD security architecture
• Been seen as a lead and have mentored junior members of team
• Relevant experience working with Palo Alto networks and certifications
• Strong experience with WAF technologies across hybrid and cloud environments
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments (ideally azure)
• Strong communication skills
