Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Technical Escalation Engineer (TEE) to operate at the heart of its observability platform. You will own complex network monitoring topics, lead high-stakes escalations, and mentor the Global Support Engineering team in a hybrid Dublin-based role.

You’ll collaborate with Engineering and Product to close gaps, shape platform evolution, and deliver rapid, impactful solutions for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in network troubleshooting and observability tooling.
• Familiarity with Unix-like OS and container tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep technical expertise as the product evolves.
• Investigate escalations and drive solutions for critical challenges.
• Run office hours and mentor the Global Support Engineering team.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to identify gaps and improvements.
• Become the go-to expert on Network Monitoring at Datadog.
• Build tooling and automations to streamline debugging.
