Job summary
Amazon's OpsTech Networking Core team designs and operates the LAN architecture powering fulfillment centers, transport hubs, and grocery operations at global scale. You will design next‑generation LAN solutions and lead self-healing automation to improve reliability and reduce vendor lock-in.
You will work with EVPN, LISP, BGP, OSPF and SDI on large deployments, mentor colleagues, and convert ideas into executable project plans while ensuring secure, scalable networks across thousands of
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical internship experience.
- 3+ years of experience with BGP and OSPF (CCNP/CCIE level).
- 3+ years of experience with routing and switching hardware from Cisco or Juniper.
- Network automation experience with Python.
- Ability to design, implement, and operate secure, stable, and maintainable network solutions.
- Experience building or enhancing tools and refining operational procedures.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable LAN solutions using EVPN, LISP, BGP, and OSPF.
- Develop autonomous automation for incident detection/remediation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate ideas into project plans.
- Mentor team members and drive root-cause analyses for impactful events.
