Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited is seeking a Network Development Engineer to help deploy, scale and automate one of the world’s largest and most complex networks. You will join AWS Infrastructure to keep the cloud running, deploying across global data centers and working with automation teams to scale at unprecedented volume.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in building automated solutions, strong communication, and experience with routing protocols and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Experience as a network engineer on large-scale deployments.
• Hands-on experience with hardware installation, racking and cabling.
• Experience with routing protocols (BGP/OSPF) and network troubleshooting tools.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Automate deployment of network infrastructure across the global fabric.
• Scale and automate networks across data centers and transit centers.
• Drive design scaling to meet customer demand and automate workflows.
• Develop and update network standards and deployment changes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate designs into production.
