Job summary
Children’s Health Ireland Dublin seeks a dedicated nurse leader to develop and coordinate the Postgraduate Diploma in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing across CHI. You will partner with academic institutions and NICU clinicians to design the curriculum and ensure delivery of a high-quality programme for the critically ill neonate population.
The post holder provides strategic leadership in neonatal education, workforce planning and clinical practice development, building a sustainable specialist
Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse and/or Registered Children's Nurse with NMBI.
- Postgraduate Qualification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing.
- Minimum of five years post-registration nursing experience.
- Minimum of three years recent Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing experience.
- Experience in clinical teaching, preceptorship, facilitation, or staff development.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
Responsibilities
- Lead development, implementation and coordination of the Postgraduate Diploma in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing.
- Provide strategic leadership in neonatal education, workforce planning and clinical practice development.
- Collaborate with academic institutions and neonatal nursing leaders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver the programme.
- Support the safe delivery of world-class neonatal care through education quality improvement.
