Job summary
Children's Health Ireland is seeking an experienced Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Neonatology) to join the neonatal team and contribute to the development of the NICU within the New Children's Hospital. The role focuses on advanced clinical care, leadership, and participation in education, research and quality improvement.

Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years post-registration nursing experience, 5+ years in NICU.
- Proven advanced clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.
- Qualification in Nurse Prescribing or equivalent and eligibility for Irish recognition.
- Undertake Ionising Radiation Prescribing certificate within a defined timeframe.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced, autonomous, evidence-based clinical care to neonates across NICU, HDU and Special Care.
- Lead and contribute to service development, education, research, quality improvement and strategic planning.
- Support transition to the New Children’s Hospital in line with national priorities and CHI objectives.
