Job summary

Childrens Health Ireland in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking an experienced paediatric nurse to support the Paediatric Major Trauma service. The post holder will coordinate clinical care for children and act as a key MDT liaison to families through the trauma pathway.

The role requires registration with the NMBI in the Children's or General division and a minimum of five years postgraduate experience, including at least three years in acute paediatric nursing.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMBI in Children's or General division.
• Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience, including 3 years in acute paediatric nursing.
• Experience in Paediatric Emergency Medicine / Critical Care / Trauma related areas desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical care of children and families through the paediatric major trauma pathway.
• Be a key point of contact and advocate within the MDT across the trauma service.
• Develop and integrate the Paediatric Major Trauma service with existing teams.
