Job summary

Metlab, part of the WH Scott group, is seeking NDT Technicians to join our expanding team in Dublin or Cork. You will perform NDT methods, develop skills in material science and coating testing, and report results using company templates.

Role reports to the Operations Manager for Metlab; benefits include a company vehicle, pension, EAP and wellbeing programmes, on-site facilities and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in NDT methods and inspection testing.
• Ability to compile technical reports.
• Familiarity with quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Build on existing skills and develop new technical and scientific skills in Material Science, NDT, Welding & Coating Testing/Inspection.
• Work with Operations Manager, Technical Manager for NDT and Quality Manager to develop personal expertise in Metlab's core business.
• Compile technical reports on tests performed in accordance with company practice.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and security policy.
• Assist with up-keeping the quality system.
