Job summary

Metlab, now part of WH Scott Group, in Dublin area seeks motivated Lab & Field CMT Technicians to join our team. The role involves hands-on testing and preparing certificates using MS Word, Excel, and Adobe, while adhering to quality and safety systems.

Completion of second-level education is required, and a Civil Engineering degree or similar qualification is required for certain aspects. Training and development are offered along with company pension benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory and field-testing methods in accordance with standards including BS 1377, EN 933, BS EN 12390, and other geotechnical guidelines.
• Develop and apply computer skills using MS Word, Excel, and Adobe for the preparation of test reports and certificates, following approved company templates.
• Adhere to the Company's documented Quality and Safety systems.
• Assist in the upkeep, maintenance, and calibration of all company equipment.
• Maintain organized and accurate records and files.
• Attend and successfully complete training courses on test methods and safety requirements as needed.
• Develop a strong understanding of national, international, and client-specific standards relevant to CMT tests and results interpretation.
