Job summary

Top Oil is recruiting a Retail Operations Manager to lead our nationwide CoCo store network and drive safety, profitability, and customer experience. The role involves daily travel to stores and periodic visits to the Dublin office, with flexible base anywhere in Ireland.

You will partner with corporate teams to deliver KPIs, manage supplier relationships, and implement pricing, promotions, and category strategies to maximise sales and margins. Leadership of large teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in management with a proven track record in a fast-moving, results-driven environment.
• Experience in operational management and leading large teams.
• Ability to lead, motivate and inspire a high-performing team and work in a matrix environment.
• Strong initiative and empowerment of teams to achieve results.
• Ability to work at pace in a dynamic environment.
• Goal orientation with a track record of success.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Full clean Driving License and own vehicle is essential for nationwide travel.

Responsibilities

• Hold overall responsibility for safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the CoCo store network nationwide.
• Lead with a Safety-First mindset and ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and operational policies.
• Ensure food safety, regulatory, and operational standards across the estate.
• Deliver sales, profitability, and margin targets and annual P&L objectives for the CoCo business.
• Analyse sales and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
• Develop pricing, promotions, and category management strategies to maximise sales and margins.
• Manage supplier partnerships and service levels while reviewing terms to maximise value.
• Provide regular reporting on key operational, commercial, financial, and people metrics.
• Lead and develop Store Management teams and foster succession planning.
• Support governance and change initiatives aligned with company objectives.
