You will own an agreed portfolio, generate new opportunities, reactivate dormant accounts and increase work from existing clients by presenting Legal Search Box solutions and delivering compelling demonstrations.
Location: Flexible within Ireland, with regular nationwide travel
Employment: Full-time
Reporting to: Managing Director
Corporate Access is an established Irish legal-search business serving solicitors, law firms, financial institutions and other professional clients across Ireland.
Our experienced teams in Dublin and Waterford support property transactions, banking, corporate matters and legal due diligence. We combine specialist search expertise and personal service with Legal Search Box, our digital ordering platform.
As part of Phenna Group, we offer the opportunity to help grow a specialist Irish business with the support of an international group.
We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to build our presence across regional Ireland and the mid-market solicitor sector.
This is an autonomous, field-based role. You can be based anywhere in Ireland, provided you can travel regularly to meet clients and prospects and spend time with our Dublin and Waterford teams.
You will take ownership of an agreed portfolio of prospects and customers, generate your own opportunities and turn relationships into measurable, recurring business. The focus is on winning new clients, reactivating dormant accounts and increasing the work we receive from existing customers.
Working directly with the Managing Director, you will have the scope to shape your territory plan and make a visible contribution to the business’s growth.
The Managing Director will retain responsibility for principal strategic accounts and wider commercial strategy, with account ownership and collaboration agreed clearly.
You will have a track record of personally generating new business and converting customer relationships into recurring revenue. You should be comfortable creating your own pipeline, managing your diary and working with substantial independence.
Experience selling services or technology to Irish law firms would be particularly valuable. We also welcome candidates from legal searches, conveyancing, legal software, title insurance, banking, property services or other relevant professional-services backgrounds.
You may be a business-development professional, solicitor, legal executive or another commercially minded professional who understands how law firms operate. A practising certificate or specific degree is not required.
You will bring:
Success means new firms placing instructions, customers returning regularly, dormant accounts becoming active and assigned accounts growing.
Meetings and pipeline activity matter, but the ultimate measure is the recurring, profitable business you build.
