Job summary
Mitie Ireland in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the Finance Team in day-to-day financial activities. The role involves assisting with month-end accounts preparation, balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Part-qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA desirable but not essential.
- 2-3 years' experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Experience preparing reconciliations and journal entries.
- Familiarity with month-end processes.
- Experience using accounting software and ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Support billing activities.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist with cash flow reporting and forecasting.
- Support external and internal audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
