Job summary

Green Home Solutions is seeking a Mold Remediation Technician to inspect homes and businesses, explain remediation options, and perform on-site cleanup using professional equipment. The role involves loading materials, driving a company van, and placing air movers/dehumidifiers to remove moisture.

The position requires basic carpentry tasks, PPE usage, and a strong focus on safety and customer service. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR and reliable transportation.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs and carry equipment up/down stairs.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and strong teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect client sites and discuss remediation options with clients.
• Load/unload supplies and operate a company van to job sites.
• Position air movers and dehumidifiers to remove moisture from affected areas.
• Perform basic remediation tasks such as cutting drywall and removing flooring materials.
• Provide high-quality customer service and address client concerns with the job leader.
• Follow safety practices and wear PPE when on site.
• Keep vehicle, equipment, and work site clean and organized.

About the job…

The Mold Remediation Technician will meet with interested clients to inspect their homes/business spaces, discuss the results, and inform them of remediation options.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loads/unloads supplies/equipment into and from vehicles, cleans and returns materials and equipment to proper storage areas.
• Drives and operates a company van equipped with cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies to the work site.
• Assists in placing air movers and dehumidifiers in proper room locations to remove moisture from carpet, upholstery, and air.
• Performs basic demo tasks-cutting drywall, removing baseboards, and various flooring material, sprays fungicide and other materials.
• Provides exceptional customer service, treats property and contents with respect and care and brings any issues or customer concerns to the job leader.
• Follows proper safety practices, wears personal protective equipment as appropriate (gloves, respirators, Tyvek Suit) while working.
• Maintains clean and organized vehicle, equipment, and job site
