Hiab in Dundalk, Ireland, seeks a Deployment Lead for the Model of Excellence (MoE) to lead site deployment, cross‑functional projects, and continuous improvement initiatives that boost productivity, efficiency and financial metrics.

You will coach and mentor stakeholders, deliver MoE training, drive Bronze to Gold certification, and serve as a role model for MoE behaviours while shaping a culture of learning across the site.

Qualifications

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Expert with proven deployment experience.
  • Degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent change management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site MoE deployment and continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, efficiency and key financial metrics.
  • Coordinate accredited MoE training and coach/mentor stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Escalate deployment gaps and issues; ensure alignment with MoE standards and achieve Bronze, Silver, and Gold Certification.
  • Deliver MoE learning activities (training and hands-on application) to build MoE knowledge and capability across teams.
  • Lead MoE calibration assessments across all cells/areas of the site, promoting consistency and knowledge sharing.

Your mission

As part of the Model of Excellence (MoE) team, the Model of Excellence Deployment Lead will lead site deployment, cross-functional strategic projects, and continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, efficiency, and key financial metrics. You will also serve as a technical expert, coordinating accredited MoE training while coaching and mentoring stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

This position is based in Dundalk, Ireland and is fully on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively manage the site’s MoE deployment and improvement priorities in alignment with MoE standards, in collaboration with Site Leadership.
  • Ensure alignment with MoE maturity and calibration criteria, and facilitate deployment activities to achieve Bronze, Silver, and Gold Certification, ensuring deployment plans remain on track.
  • Apply MoE learning resources and standards supported by the Business Excellence Group to implement methods, deliver training, and leverage best practices.
  • Provide coaching to guide teams through their maturity progression.
  • Escalate significant deployment gaps or issues where necessary.
  • Facilitate MoE-related communication and change management activities, enabling site leadership to embed and sustain the MoE culture while recognizing and celebrating successes.
  • Serve as a role model for MoE behaviours.
  • Deliver learning activities (training and hands-on application) to build MoE knowledge and capability across teams.
  • Lead MoE calibration assessments across all cells/areas of the site, promoting consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Capture and document lessons learned, both successes and challenges, benchmark data, and share opportunities with the Director of Business Excellence.
What We Are Looking For
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Expert, or equivalent
  • Degree-qualified in Engineering or Business, or demonstrable experience in change management and continuous improvement.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience leading Lean/Continuous Improvement activities and deploying Lean transformations.
  • Proven expertise in Lean deployment tools and methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, Daily Management, Kaizen Systems, 5S, Lean Leadership, and Standard Work.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent training and facilitation skills & passion for Continuous Improvement.
  • Proven people management skills with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams and adapt communication to varied audiences.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with a proven track record of executing against Operational related performance metrics (safety, delivery, quality, cost, people development, and culture).
  • Excellent influencing, coaching, and communication abilities across all organizational levels.
  • Skills in conflict resolution, presenting, and critical thinking.
  • Hands-on, structured, and logical working style.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to challenge constructively, drive results, and deliver value.
  • Proficiency in English with a secondary language a benefit
