Hilti Ireland is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our Local Logistics Team in Finglas, Dublin 11. You will support materials management, transport, and warehouse processes while driving continuous improvement in a fast-growing environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related experience (2+ years), SAP experience, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Full rights to work in Ireland and a clean drivers licence are essential.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics / Materials Management / Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Logistics / Materials Management / Supply Chain experience.
• SAP experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
• High attention to detail and commitment.
• Full working rights in Ireland.
• Full clean driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Materials Management: Supporting local Customer Projects visiting job sites with the salesforce and feeding back to local/regional logistic teams.
• Transport Management: Assisting end-to-end management of transport services to the customer with a proactive, process-driven approach.
• Warehouse Support: Planning and scheduling distribution including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returns/damaged goods, and administrative activities.
• Process Improvement: Working cross-functionally with lean tools to solve root causes and drive cost productivity and service improvements.

Logistics Specialist – Hilti Ireland

What You'll Do

• Materials Management: Supporting local Customer Projects visiting job sites together with the salesforce, feeding back to the local & regional logistic teams where required
• Transport Management: Assisting in the end-to-end management of transport services to the customer, ensuring quality, a proactive solutions centric approach, continuous improvement and process compliance
• Warehouse Support: planning and scheduling distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/ damaged goods, maintenance and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Process Improvement: working cross functionally, using lean management tools, adapting global standard / guidelines and sustainably solve root cause issues to achieve cost productivity, efficiencies, or service improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant Logistics / Materials Management / Supply Chain experience (c. 2 + years)
• SAP experience
• Logical thinker with strong attention to detail and a high level of commitment
• Strong Microsoft and PC skills; including Access, Excel, PowerPoint,
• Ability to use Excel for analysis
• Strong Analytical skills and mathematical aptitude required
• Willing to work in operational and office environment
• Has excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Full working rights in Ireland
• Full clean drivers licence
